Welcome to the GeoStable Tailings Consortium.

The GeoStable Tailings Consortium (GSTC) is dedicated to fostering collaboration among member mining companies to address critical challenges associated with tailings and waste rock. Through multidisciplinary research, knowledge sharing, and technological advancements, we aim to provide practical solutions for constructing, operating and monitoring geostable tailings facilities (including high throughput operations) that enhance the safety, stability, and environmental performance related to tailings and waste rock management.
